Since 1952, Carroll Seating Company has been dedicated to representing the highest quality products in the most professional manner possible. We have charged our people with the responsibility to be the most knowledgeable and hard working in the industry. Carroll Seating Company’s goal is to be the source of quality products, solutions, and business propositions that meet the challenges of our customers’ long term investments by establishing a relationship based on trust and performance.
HISTORY
Carroll Seating Company (CSC) was founded in 1952 by Patrick Carroll, who began selling worship furniture from the basement of his home. As demand grew, he expanded into additional furniture and equipment offerings for private schools and later the public-school market throughout Illinois. Over time, he established long-standing dealer agreements—many of which remain core to CSC’s offerings today.
In 1998, Patrick Carroll, Jr. assumed the role of President. His brother, Michael Carroll, became General Manager of Operations for CSC’s second location in Kansas City, Missouri, a position he held until his passing in 2021. Patrick’s son, Evan P.Carroll, joined full-time in sales in 2008 following an internship from 2003–2005. His daughter, Meredith Pollard (Carroll), joined in 2011 and was appointed General Manager of the Chicago office in 2018.
Today, Carroll Seating Company operates from three offices—Illinois, Kansas City, and St. Louis—with a full in-house Repair & Service Department. We proudly serve customers throughout Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska, representing a wide range of trusted product lines with over $48.5 million in annual sales.
In 2025, Patrick Carroll, Jr. invited Evan Carroll, Meredith Pollard, and Tim Haggerty to join him as partners in ownership. United by a shared commitment to CSC’s legacy and values, the new leadership team is excited and encouraged by the future. Together—alongside the talents of CSC’s incredible staff—they look forward to continued growth, innovation, and success.
Our experienced staff of estimators, project managers, salespeople, and support staff are available to our clients from the start of a project through completion. However, customer relationships do not stop at the end of the job. Our continued commitment to customer service enables us to reap the rewards of continued repeat business and has earned Carroll Seating Company the reputation as one of the country’s largest dealers in the school, institutional, and commercial markets.
