Custom Suspended Basketball Units at Fort Calhoun Elementary

Carroll Seating Company proudly partners with schools and sports facilities across the Midwest to deliver expertly designed and installed athletic equipment. Our recent project at Fort Calhoun Elementary in Nebraska highlights our ability to tackle complex installations with precision and innovation.

This sports equipment installation featured custom ceiling-suspended basketball hoops and backboards, manufactured by Gared Performance Sports Systems. What made this project unique was the building’s concrete “T” roof structure—an uncommon design in the Midwest. To meet this challenge, our team utilized a thru-bolt attachment method, ensuring a secure and lasting install.

We also incorporated a TSC1500XL touchscreen controller and powered height adjusters, making it easy for staff to operate and ideal for younger students.
