Custom Suspended Basketball Units Fort Calhoun Elementary Athletics

Carroll Seating Company designs and installs custom casework and millwork in high schools, colleges, universities, park districts and sports facilities in Illinois through out the Midwest.    This recent sports equipment project in Fort Calhoun, Nebraksa is a great example of how Carroll Seating Company can assist private and public sports facilities in the State of Nebraska with the custom installation of ceiling suspended basketball hoops and backboards.

This is a “Gared Performance Sports Systems” project.  This is a unique project due to the mounting methods.  This roof structure consists of concrete “T’s” and we use a thru bolt attachment method.  This roof structure isn’t common in the Midwest. We used a TSC1500XL touch screen controller to operate the units and have powered height adjusters which is ideal for an elementary school.

Valley Lutheran School Side Braced Basketball Goal & Shot Clock

Carroll Seating Company designs and installs athletic field house equipment and gymnasium sports equipment for high schools, colleges and universities through out the Midwest.    This recent project in Cedar Falls, Iowa  is a great example of how Carroll Seating Company delivers the total package.

Carroll Seating Company recently completed this “fold away” basketball backboards and shot clock project in Cedar Falls, Iowa.  When reviewing the  the photos, you an see it was a prefab gym with purlins and SBO for the main goals.  Performance Sports Systems (PSS) went with the 3209 bent side braced goal, and it functions and raises great!  After the install my client needed to add a shot clock bracket.  With the bent mast we were unsure what would work and if it needed to be custom.  After a brainstorming session, our team thought the 5703 shot clock bracket could work.  It did work and the project was a success.  We had to offset it to the back in lieu of the front and had very little room around the 1170 electric height adjusting motor.  You can see in the last picture how it just tucked right behind the motor.  If you have 3209’s on a project in the future, 5703 is the bracket you need for the shot clocks.
